How can I set up a new resource for Bookings


Answer

A Resource is also an area, piece of equipment or person that can be booked by a customer. However, unlike Features, Resources are internally facing and will surface in the internal Booking Diary. Every Feature created in Step 1, needs a corresponding Resource. 


To add Resources:

  1. 1. Launch DATA MANAGEMENT.

  1. 2. Search and click Resources

  1. 3. Click NEW.

  1. 4. Enter a Code – This is the name of the resource e.g. Indoor Sports Hall, Indoor Basketball. Court, and Indoor Volleyball Court.

  1. 5. Parent Resource – please refer further on.

  1. 6. Source – Select Feature.

  2. 7. Add the Feature – Search and select the corresponding feature that you have previously created

  3. 8. Resource class – Leave blank in this step. This will be revisited in later in the configuration.



      9. People capacity – Specify the maximum number of people this resource can cater for.
