Envibe: How to create a Booking Diary
Booking Diaries are a visual representation of all the Resources that are bookable by customers within a facility. They have a calendar view with the ability to navigate between different days and months, as well as multiple sites to view and book Resources.
A Booking Diary specifies a related set of Resources. Diaries are used to collate Resources on the booking calendar into coherent and easy-to-manage groups.
To create Booking Diaries:
1. Launch DATA MANAGEMENT.
2. Search and click Booking Diaries.
3. Click NEW.
4. Add a Diary Name – Add name e.g. Indoor Sports Hall.
5. Colour – Select a colour scheme.
6. Interval – This is the bookable time slots within the diary.
e.g. I can book every 15 minutes, half hour or on the hour.
7. Site – Add the applicable site.
8. Resource Class – refer to Resource Classes
9. Resource – Click and select the PARENT feature for the diary.
10. Permitted booking type – add preconfigured booking types here.
11. Show annotations in day view preview – Resources can be annotated to indicate either availability or unavailability, providing dissemination of more information to booking clerks and reception staff. Keep this ticked as shown here so you can view all annotations within the day view of the calendar.
12. Is primary – If this option is enabled, the diary will sit on the main calendar because it is one of the main diaries utilised.
