Envibe: How do I create a multi-resource once-off booking
Question
How do I create a multi-resource once-off booking?
Answer
In the scenario where a customer wishes to book multiple resources, e.g. 2 tennis courts, on a once-off occurrence, this is considered a multi-resource once-off booking. To complete this type of booking, follow the steps below:
- Launch BOOKINGS
- Click VIEW DAY

- Navigate to the applicable Booking Diary, e.g. Tennis Courts.
- Use arrows/calendar tools to navigate to the applicable date, e.g. 12th April 2020.
- Click START BOOKING

- Click and drag on the calendar to highlight the first booking allocation. E.g. Tennis Court 1: 7am - 12pm.

- Click the blue question mark to select the relevant Resource Class and Resource Type. NOTE: Depending on the site’s configuration, Resource Class and Resource Type may not be options.

- Repeat steps 6 and 7 for all additional booking allocation resources. NOTE: To include resources from different booking diaries, simply switch between the booking diaries.
- Click BOOK.
- Select from the list of preconfigured Booking Types, e.g. Club. NOTE: Depending on the site’s configuration, Booking Types may not appear as an option.

- Search and select the applicable customer(s) from the contact list by clicking the tiles located in the top-right-hand side of the screen. NOTE: If the contact is not already in the system, they will need to be added by clicking NEW in the contact search screen. See End User Manual 1 – Reception Representatives for more information on adding new contacts.
- PRIMARY – main contact person.
- BILLING – financial contact, name to appear on invoices (defaults to PRIMARY if left blank).
- ASSOCIATED – other contacts related to this booking.
- Click CONFIRM to confirm the booking

- Click VIEW DAY to review the booking from the Diary View. NOTE: The checklist symbol indicates the booking has been confirmed.
