How do I add a Resource Type for my booking hire costs?


Answer

A Resource Type is used to specify differing cost rates based on the duration of time that is being booked. Specifically, a Resource Type identifies which sales items are available when booking a Resource Class. The Resource Type forms the link between the Resource Class and all associated Sales Items.

To create Resource Types:

  1. 1. Launch DATA MANAGEMENT.

  1. 2. Search and click Resource Type.

  1. 3. Click NEW.

  1. 4. Name – Add name. 

  1. e.g. Indoor Basketball Competition – Hourly.

  1. Indoor Basketball Competition – Daily.

  1. 5. Resource Class – Select from the dropdown options.

  1. 6. Period in minutes – 60 mins for hourly rates, leave blank for flat rates.

  2. 7. Items – Search and select Items associated with this booking. Multiple items can be added
