How do I use the Diary view and what do the icons denote?


Answer

The Courses Module opens to a Diary View as shown below. The Diary opens to the current day as default. The blue arrows in the top left are used to navigate between different days:


  1. Single arrow navigates daily
  1. Double arrow navigates weekly


An overview of the number of sessions for the day, and number of enrolments for the day are displayed at the top of the diary:


1. Dial Icon


The dial icon found next to the session and enrolment summary provides quick action functions such as:
    1. Schedule Class.
    2. Cancel Session.
    3. Roster Session.
    4. Relocate Session




2. Filter Diary View

The filter banner below allows you to sort the dairy by specific courses, levels, locations, or teachers.


All filters that have been applied can be cleared by clicking the red cross

3. Occupancy View

By clicking the battery icon, Envibe allows the user to toggle class by occupancy view. This allows a user to view colour allocations in the course’s diary based on occupancy

  1. Red = Full.
  2. Orange = >50% occupancy
  3. Green = <50% occupancy
  4. Grey = Empty




4. Teacher View

By default, the system groups classes on the timetable by Teacher rostered. To turn this feature on and off, simply click the green profile icon

5. Class Overview

If a session is selected on the Diary view, an overview arises on the right of the screen. This displays information such as:
  1. Class Name and Identifier
  1. Day, Date, Time, Teacher and Location of class
  1. Taken, Held, Available, Waitlisted and Total Capacity values
  1. List of all students enrolled in the class


6. Cog Icon

The cog icon is found in the top right of the Class Overview and provides quick action functions such as:

  1. Take Attendance
  1. Cancel Session
  1. Roster Session
  1. Relocate Session
  1. Change Class
  1. End Class
  1. Clone Class (Fixed Term Debit and Upfront only)
