Question

What is the workflow to process a student who is leaving class in Courses?


Answer

In the scenario where a student wishes to discontinue their enrolment, the Leave action can be completed from the Enrolment Overview screen.

To process a leave of a student’s enrolment:

1.  Navigate to the Enrolment Overview screen
2.  Click Stay in
3.  Click the Leave action.




4.  Select the Last Session date. NOTE: If the course enrolment is being paid via direct debit, it is recommended that the last session coincide with the final billing anniversary.
5.  Select the Leave Reason.
6.  Click SELECT.





7.  The default is to refund any applicable pro-rate. Click on the tile to adjust the credit type if no refund is applicable or approved.




8.  Click PROCESS/REFUND
9.  If a refund is due, select the applicable Tender Type for the refund.
10.  Click FINALISE.

NOTE: The Leave process can also be completed via the Student profile found directly in the Class Summary, as shown in the image below.
