How do I create a protocol around membership cancellations.

To create a Membership Cancellation Protocol:

  1. 1. Launch DATA MANAGEMENT.

  1. 2. Search and select MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION PROTOCOLS.

  1. 3. Click NEW.

  1. 4. Enter a Name – e.g. Upfront Cancellation

  1. 5. Add a Notice period – this dictates the notice period for a membership cancellation.

  1. 6. Add a Minimum period before next charge – this dictates the minimum period a member can cancel before their membership will be charged.

  1. 7. Add a Minimum adherence period – this indicates the minimum length of a singular cancellation period.


  2. Once protocol fields have been configured and added to Membership Types, customers will be restricted by the protocols in the Online Portal workflows.

  3. Unavailable dates will be greyed out and unable to be selected.
