What is the process to update a debit fee as the charges are increasing?


Answer

The Update Debit Fee functionality is used to update all membership and enrolment related Debit Fees to a new price. The naming convention ‘Debit Fee’ is about the Item rate (the amount the customer is paying for their enrolment/membership).

This functionality will adjust all applicable existing debit plans AND will be reflected on any new enrolments/memberships sold.

If, however, the Envibe user navigates to Data Management > Items > updates the Default Price, this will leave all existing enrolments/memberships on the previous rate and will only be reflected on new enrolments/memberships.

To update debit fees:

1.  Launch Debit Management from the Main Menu
2.  Click UPDATE DEBIT FEE


3.  Select and choose the debit type you want to change in price.
4.  Update Price and enter the new price for each sales item to be updated
5.  Press Next
6.  Summary of changes will appear on the screen to verify the changes
7.  Press Finalise.
