How do I implement bulk price increases?

Answer

Global Price Rises can be actioned within the Envibe application to assist sites with adjusting fees and charges for customer related Items.

These changes can be done immediately in a bulk update to Items or prepared in advance item by item.

Bulk Sales Price Edit

In the scenario that a large number of items in Envibe need to be updated, export/import functionality can be utilised to bulk update the Items previous default price to a new default price. The items are first exported, rates adjusted and then imported back into Envibe.

Note: Items adjusted using the Sales Price Edit Import and Export will be adjusted immediately upon the import workflow being completed.

Sales Price Edit - Export

To complete a bulk price export:

1. Launch Import – from the Main Menu search menu

2. Click SALES PRICE EDIT – EXPORT

3. Select Export prices as at date – defaults to today’s date

4. Tick Export all pricing – defaults to be selected, can be deselected if wishing to export only particular item by Operating Rate or Sales Level.

5. Leave Include disabled sales items unticked – can be selected if applicable.

7. Save the CSV file to a file location or desktop.

8. The CSV file should automatically open – or manually open the file.

9. Enter new pricing in the New Price column   

Sales Price Edit – Import

Once a revised CSV file has been completed with New Price column information attached, the file can be imported into Envibe to adjust the values immediately.

To complete a bulk price import:

1. Launch Import – from the Main Menu search bar

2. Click SALES PRICE EDIT – IMPORT

3. Search and select the applicable file and click Open

4. Review all items in the Overview screen.

Note: Any items with errors will appear in the list with an exclamation point icon, these will need to be rectified in the CSV file and reloaded for the item changes to be successful. If warning messages are ignored, only items with a tick icon will be successfully loaded.

5. Click UPDATE 

Once the import workflow has been completed, items can be reviewed in Data Management > Items. Amended prices will now be shown in the default Price field
