Envibe: How to set up Deposits for Bookings
Question
How can I set up deposits to be charged on some bookings.
Answer
Booking Deposits are a first instalment of the full amount that can be raised automatically by Envibe and collected upfront when the booking is raised.
Once a booking deposit is configured, it can be linked to a Booking Type.
To configure a Booking Deposit:
1. Launch DATA MANAGEMENT.
2. Search and Click Booking Deposits.
3. Click NEW.
4. Add a Deposit Name – e.g. 10% Standard Deposit.
5. Select a Deposit Type – there are two options available:
A fixed dollar value is charged regardless of the booking rate. E.g. $50 deposit.
A percentage-based value of whatever the booking rate that is charge e.g. 10%.
6. Add in the value of the percentage or fixed rebate.
