Envibe: How to mange school holiday shutdowns in Continuous Courses
Course shutdowns can be used for Continuous Courses for
closure periods or timeframes when sessions are not running. Always ensure
suspensions are configured at least 1 debit cycle before the shutdown is due to
begin e.g. if your debit cycle is fortnightly, your shutdowns must be
configured 2 weeks prior to the start of the shutdown.
Configuring a Shutdown
Two types of shutdowns can be configured:
· Wrap: Simply removes any sessions on the selected dates.
·
Suspension: Removes sessions on the
selected dates and suspends the applicable debit plans for the specified
timeframe.
To create a Course Shutdown:
1. Launch COURSES.
2. Click Management.
3. Click Course.
4. Select the course that requires a shut down.
5. Click Edit and navigate to the shutdown table.
6. Click New.
7. Populate from and Until dates.
8. Select Type – Suspend or Wrap.
9. Click OK.
10. Click
SAVE.
