How can I configure a membership promo code.


Answer

Promo codes can be configured to discount the purchase of an upfront membership on the customer web portal.
Steps to Configure a Discount (Promo Code):

    • 1. Configure the Discount

    • 2. Configure Web Discount


1. Configure the Discount

DATA MANAGEMENT -> DISCOUNTS
1. Click New to add a new discount.
2. Enter the Discount Name
3. Select Discount Type – either Percentage or Rebate
4. Enter the Percentage or Amount of the discount.

2. Configure Web Discount

DATA MANAGEMENT -> WEB DISCOUNTS
1. Click New to add the Promo Code to be used online.
2 . Enter the Code to be used by customers online for the upfront membership purchase. 
3. Enter the period for the promo code to be active in From and Until
4. Link the Discount code in Discount. The discount code holds the percentage or amount to be applied to the membership when purchased.
5. In Items select the applicable upfront membership items for use with the promotional code.
