How do I create a new league in the Teams Module?


Answer

A business’s vital information in relation to leagues, including fixturing days and times and financial information is managed via Leagues. 

To create a new league, follow these steps: 
  1. Launch the TEAMS module.
  2. Click FUNCTIONS.
  3. Click MANAGE LEAGUES.
  4. Click New.
  5. Add the applicable Name, Division, Sport, Season and Scoring configuration
  6. Specify a Fixture Fee – this is a dollar amount
  7. Attach relevant items for Fixture, Forfeit, Withdrawal and Registration fees
  8. Click Include grading results in regular season standings - If grading rounds are included in your normal ladder scoring.
  9. League is scheduled to run weekly – this is the default checkbox, leave this selected unless you are running a one-day event.
  10. Select Day of Week – what day the rounds will be fixtured on.
  11. Add Fixture from - species the start time that rounds can be scheduled
  12. Add Fixture until - specifies the end time that rounds can be scheduled
  13. Specify Fixture duration – the timeframe of each fixtured round
  14. Add a Grading round count if applicable – if no rounds are grading, enter 0
  15. Once the League details are finalised, ensure ‘is confirmed’ is selected.
  16. Click SAVE. 

Note: The remaining fields in the League configuration are not mandatory.
