Envibe: How to set up Courses personalised level E-certificates

Question

How can we set up e-certificates that parent/guardians can download them once the student completes all the competencies in that level.

Answer

In Envibe version 874, the functionality to display a personalised digital certificate on the customer portal became available.

This is done via a link from a PDF template to a course level.  When the student achieves all the competencies of the level, on the customer Web portal, the certificate is available for download.

To implement the feature, follow the steps outlined below or via the video link:

Configuration Steps:

1. Free license required
2. Install Foxit PDF Reader
3. Import and link PDF Certificates
4. Configure a level certificate
5. Viewing Online

1. Free license required

A free license must first be installed.  Contact the Support Team for assistance to do this

2. Install Foxit PDF Reader

Install this free program on the PC so Document Designer can view the PDF in the template.

    1. Downloading Foxit may require administrator permissions. Please contact your IT team for assistance. It is important that when downloading the free viewer, that you UNTICK the 14-day free demo version. If you forget to untick this section, you will be required to uninstall and reinstall the program again.
    2. If you can not install Foxit PDF Reader, you can continue with the configuration process.  Without PDF reader, your certificate will not be visible in Document Designer but you can still link the database fields to the template.
