How do I create a trigger recipe? 


Answer

Once the basic configuration has been established in Data Management, Trigger Recipes can be created directly from the Triggers Module. Trigger Recipes are created to define the demographics or categories of Contact for each Trigger that will be sent.


To create a new Trigger Recipe:
  1. Launch the TRIGGERS module.
  2. Search and select RECIPES.
  3. Click New.
  4. Enter a Name for the Trigger- e.g. Annual Birthday Text.
  5. Select the Template type - either SMS or Email.
  6. Attach a pre-configured Template OR select Custom for free-form content options.
  7. Add filters to the Conditions table
  8. Click PREVIEW - to view the customer facing output of recipe.
  9. Click SAVE.

Note: When configuring new recipes, Jonas Leisure recommends clicking the Is Disabled checkbox as best practice. This ensures that no automatic or immediate settings can fire a Trigger without testing and reviewing first taking place.
