How do I configure POS hardware like receipt printers.


Answer

A number of hardware can be configured to work in line with the POS module including receipt printers, cash registers and handheld scanners.

Jonas recommends the EPSON TM-T88V Receipt Printer USB as the most compatible hardware model.

Receipt Printer Configuration

Receipt printers are configured to print sales and other small receipts. These can print automatically or on demand based on your settings configured in site policies.

To configure a receipt printer:


1. Navigate to DATA MANAGEMENT.
2. Search and select Printers
3. Click NEW

4. Add the Printer Name - The name of the printer needs to be the exact same as the Windows Printer Name

5. Select the applicable Windows Printer Name.

6. Add in the relevant Cash Drawer Open Code.

7. Click SAVE
The below list contains the relevant Cash Drawer Open codes for compatible Cash register hardware. The code will help ensure you drawer ‘pops’ when a sale is completed, or the OPEN DRAWER button is selected at POS
