How can I cancel multiple bookings at once.


Answer

The Cancel Bookings List can be utilised from the FUNCTIONS menu. This is commonly used for once off bookings in circumstances where the cancellation is due to internal factors e.g. Weather, facility availability etc.


Note: Using the Cancel Bookings Workflow will cancel all allocations of a booking. This means if a booking is recurring, all dates/times/locations will be cancelled. If a user wishes to cancel only one allocation in a recurring booking, the standard CANCEL BOOKING workflow in the Bookings Overview should be utilised.


To cancel upcoming bookings in bulk:

  1. 1. Launch BOOKINGS.

  1. 2. Click FUNCTIONS.

  1. 3. Click CANCEL BOOKINGS.

  1. 4. Use the Checkbox to select all applicable bookings to cancel.

  1. 5. Click Cancel.

  2. 6. Select CANCEL REASON

  3. 7. Select YES to confirm cancellation of the bookings

  4. Once cancellations have been actioned, the booking will drop off the Dynamic List, the booking status will be cancelled, and the resource allocation released.
