How do I modify a sale?

Answer

Envibe supports modifying a completed sale. This is available from the following locations.


MODIFY button on the Sales page of the contact overview (only from within the POS, only available for supervisors).

MODIFY SALE button from POS | Functions (only available for supervisors):

MODIFY button from POS | Functions | SALES HISTORY (only available for supervisors)

Some caveats:

When you modify a sale with an invoice, the invoice will be re-issued (i.e. get a new identifier)

Modify sale only works for sales that are limited to admission, stock, service and membership charges please be aware that the user is only blocked from progressing when attempting to hit the PAY button, meaning you can load a sale into the item page that can’t actually be “paid”.
