How do I defer a stocktake?

Answer

If preferred, a hardcopy of the stock form can be used sing the DEFER option within the standard Stocktake procedure.

To defer stocktakes and print stock forms. 

1. Launch INVENTORY.

2. Click NEW STOCKTAKE.

3. Select the location and click NEXT.

4. Using the QUICK ACTIONS menu on the left-hand side of the screen, either SEARCH STOCK, add NEW STOCK TYPE, PRE-FILL FROM SUPPLIER or COPY FROM EXISTING to add stock.

5. Click DEFER.

6. Click Print form. The stocktake form will display, including barcodes once they have been entered on stock records.

Once staff have recorded all stock levels on the printed form:

Click STOCKTAKES under the MANAGE heading.

1. Find the applicable incomplete stocktake and click Edit Stocktake

2. Use the black arrows to add or subtract item numbers or click the number to manually populate.

3. EDIT NOTE if applicable.

4. Click SAVE.
