Envibe: How to create a Nonstock Items

Question

How do I create a nonstock item such as tea, coffee, for example.

Answer

To create a Nonstock Item:

1. Launch DATA MANAGEMENT.

2. Search and select Items.

3. Click on NEW.

4. Enter a Name for the item e.g. Cappuccino 

5. Add a default sale price.

6. Add any applicable upgrade items e.g. Medium, Large, Soy Milk, Extra Shot etc.  If Upgrade Items are used, ensure checkbox Will display upgrade is selected

Note: These options will then surface in POS.

7. Under Department Disbursement, click ADD.

8. Under Departments or Department Assignment (for multi-site facilities), click and choose the correct code for this item. This is where the revenue will be allocated. 

Note: Revenue can be allocated to multiple departments by adjusting the % value. 

9. Enter the Tax code, e.g. GST or no GST.

10. Click SAVE.
