How can I configure the POS Deck to toggle on or off features on the POS Deck.
Answer
DATA MANAGEMENT > DECKS > Select Deck to Edit
The following options are available to restrict the features available for a given deck:
• Sales Catalog allows searching for items via the sales catalog.
• Contact Search allows searching for a contact, as well as accessing admission history and check token functionality.
• Schedule Sales allows deferring payment of a sale using a payment schedule.
• Hold Sales allows temporarily holding (and recalling) sales.
• Invoice Sales allows invoicing of required payment for a sale.
• Switch Decks allows switching to other decks.
• Pay Bookings allows payment of outstanding bookings.
• Pay Invoices allows payment of outstanding invoices.
• Manage Teams allows management of charges and payments for teams.
• Manage Sales allows management of historical sales (including sales history, modify sale, remove sale, unspent vouchers).
• Manage Periods allows viewing and managing of the current period.
• Show Extracts allows access to extracts.
• Staff Administration allows administration of staff members.
• if a default deck cannot be determined for the terminal, all of the related features will be available
• all existing decks are upgraded with all features enabled, resulting in no change of functionality
